The Weekend Slot Race has run every Friday-to-Sunday at Spinfin since launch on a £12,000 pool paying the top 50. From the weekend of 15 August it pays the top 250 — same pool, five times the winners, and a noticeably flatter curve at the top.

First place drops by £1,200. In exchange, 200 players who would previously have finished just outside the money now get paid.
Why flatten it
Spinfin’s own figures put a top-50 finish out of reach for the large majority of weekend entrants, while a top-250 finish is a realistic outcome for a regular player having a decent weekend. A prize table where almost nobody in the field can plausibly reach the money is a leaderboard in name only.
The trade-off is real and worth stating plainly: if you were finishing in the top three, this change costs you money. If you were finishing 60th, it is the difference between nothing and something.
Format is unchanged
Everything else stays as it was:
- When — Friday 00:01 to Sunday 23:59 UK time, every week
- Scoring — highest single equalised win multiplier, minimum stake £0.20
- Games — all non-jackpot slots in the lobby
- Entry — automatic on any qualifying real-money spin
- Payout — cash, no wagering requirement, credited by Monday evening
Bonus-funded spins still do not qualify, and the standard tournament terms are unchanged.
Alongside the Autumn Spin Series
From 8 September the Weekend Slot Race runs concurrently with the Autumn Spin Series, and weekend spins score on both boards at once. There is no cap on placing in both in the same week.
